Resolve an Existing Issue
Select the issue
Scroll down to the Reply section and type in your solution. You may upload relevant images or documents that will further aid the crew.
Click on Send Reply when done
Permissions
All super admins, admins and users have the permission to add new issues.
However, users can only add issues to vessels that are assigned to them.
Adding Issues
Click on Add new Issue on your dashboard
Fill up the necessary information:
Title: Brief Summary of the Issue
You can include “Vessel Name, Equipment Type, Problem” in the title so as to allow ship managers and crews to get an idea of the issue you are facing.
Vessel: Choose the Vessel
A drop-down menu is provided
Equipment: Choose the Equipment
A drop-down menu is provided.
Tags: Include keywords to allow easy search (Optional)
Insert some of the keywords related to the issue to allow other ship managers and crews to access your issue thread easily.
Recommended keywords:
Equipment type
Vessel type
Brand
Issue faced
Issue Description: Provide details about the issue
Recommended details include:
What equipment or part is facing the issue?
What is the problem you are facing?
How often does it happen?
When did this happen?
Status: Open or Resolved
Open - Issue does not have a solution yet.
Resolved - Issue has been solved. The solution can be viewed in the thread.
Urgency: Importance of the issue
Low - Does not require immediate action. Lowest priority.
Medium - Minor/Moderate issue requiring action.
High - Require immediate action.
Critical - Highest priority.
Choose File: Image or any document related to the issue
Visual images help others to understand the issue more clearly
3. Click on Submit Issue when done.
